Today's inspiration site was perfect to combine with a VSN Challenge. I've done Kim's Midnight Gardens one and used this picture to guide the colors. I stamped the flowers three times with VersaMagic Cloud White. The middle one stamped too heavy because I got a little carried away with the reinking prior to stamping. After the ink finally dried, I colored with colored pencils instead of pastels. I always make a mess with pastels. When I finished, it needed something else, so I stamped and fussy cut this butterfly and added it into my scene. This is going to a friend whose dog just died. I put a dog silhouette on the inside.

Your wildflowers are so pretty, Jen. So sad for your friend and I know she will appreciate your wonderful card.

Pretty!! A lot of work, but the results are worth it (especially for me, as I didn't have to do the work!). Hello friend!

What a delightful midnight garden! This is sure to cheer your find. It's NEVER a good time to lose a beloved pet but I can't imagine the sorrow they must be feeling at this difficult time when we are cut off from people. Hugs!
