I totally forgot to put in yellow on my flower but I did get it in my sky.
I fixed a page torn out of an annual report (this is a sympathy card to all the money that is no longer in my 401K after Covid19) with gesso. Then I did a color wash, stamped some images, layered on another layer of the flower, then added in some blue texture paste (representing tears since I will have to put off retirement a little bit longer). Que Sera Sera...
Can't wait to see what all of you make as well.
Hugz!

No laughing matter, though I did chuckle! Love your page and fab colors, popped flower.

Can't even have a funeral for your 401-K (now known as a 201-K), only you could attend. I'm really sorry and feel your pain. My IRA statement came in the mail yesterday, I don't have the heart to open it. It will recover eventually, wasn't that much in the first place. Your card, on the other hand, is a real winner. Favd.

Feel your pain, Nancy. Yes, things will bounce back ONE DAY...unfortunately many of us won't live to be 125 years old. : ) Love your card to your "passed away" $$$ Wonderful collage design. I enjoyed (and empathized with) your description....as the slogan of the moment is "were in this together". Hugs, mf

What a beautiful floral collage, Nancy! I love your bg & the glittery flower center.I think we're all feeling the big pinch. Actually more like a hammer over the head, lol.

Can certainly relate to this awesome sympathy card, Nancy. Seems it was just a number on a paper, right? Now I am wishing I had spent and enjoyed a bit more of it! Love the fabulous background you have created.

Beautiful mixed media card....at least you have a sense of humor about it...I won't let myself go on the financial site to check my 401K...not much you can do...we will get past this. Thanks for the laugh ....and art.
How beautiful! I love your description. It's so scary. We also have our daughter's college savings in a mutual fund and don't know if there will be any money in it when this is all done. Your card is a treat for the eyes though! Love you!
