It's my last day on the color challenge sample team and I've had a blast. Thanks for having me! Barbara is our hostess this week and she has chosen Pineapple Punch, Flirty Flamingo, and Bermuda Bay. Sweet colors for this sweet scene that I had wanted to create. A friend asked me if I could make a congratulations to new great-grandparents card. Of course I was happy to. I've never made one before and it was fun. I found this sentiment on Pinterest and printed it out. Then I masked and stamped my scene. I don't usually do masked scenes (so much planning!), but thought I'd give it a try with these sweet bears. I stamped the book and baby bear and masked them so I could stamp great-grandpa bear. Then I masked him too and stamped great-grandma bear. It was actually pretty fun. Then I masked them all so I could stencil a wallpaper background. I just love these colors for this scene. When I was done, Desmond came over and looked at it and told me that the book was too plain and I should've stamped something on it. He's so smart, that kid. So I grabbed a Waffle Flower set that I knew had a lot of very small cute stamps and decided that this creamer looked like it could be Aladdin's lamp.

Well, you can tell Desmond that I really like that lamp on the front cover, Jen! Cute idea for new great grandparents using the Three Bears theme. Pretty wallpaper and perfect sentiment~

Ah, Jen, another wonderful creation from your studio! I love masking, and I'm so glad you decided to do it. When you do something, you do go all in! All that masking created such an adorable scene, love the Aladdin's lamp on the book. Kudos to Desmond for the suggestion. It has been a pleasure having you on the team this month!
