I played off color and that fact that I saw a rose in the artwork. I also saw a few white speckles in the color sections so I didnÂ’t use the embossing buddy bag and got a few specs to show up on the card.
The inside oval is cut with a Coluzzle, the scallops with scissors and the outside oval was a freehand cut since the template would have been too big. The VersaMark resist technique for the background can be found in TLC57.
The rose is colored with aqua painter and pad ink. The background color is done with Big and Juicy ink pad by Ranger.

Gorgeous play on the colors. You make watercoloring sound so easy and I think I have that same big and juicy pad but always forget about it. That middle rose section just pops right off the card it is so pretty
Well Rox, leave it to you to turn embossing flecks into an art mediuml! The scalloped layer with that rose is just the right trick plus it is colored perfectly, and the *juicy pad* had the perfect colors--sensational take on the challenge Rox!

Interesting to read what you "saw". I saw similar things but since my daughter is here for the weekend, I didn't get to stamping...mabye tomorrow (but I won't upload on the Sabbath, promise)
