My card for Melody's (lacyquilter) fun VSN challenge, Word Play - FLORA.
F - Fruit (pear)
L - Lovely Lilac CS
O - Old Olive ink, CS
R - Ribbon used to make a fluffy bow
A - Alphabet PP, Amore
Stamped the pear onto the Alphabet PP (from my stash, have had it so long I don't remember where it came from!) with Old Olive ink, & colored the image with colored pencils to make it stand out a bit. Layered it onto a piece of Lovely Lilac CS.
You can't really see it, sigh, but the Old Olive panel behind the popped up Pear panel was stamped all over in Versamark with the small pear from the SU set All Natural, and the leaf from the SU set Natural Beauty.
Sponged all the edges with Old Olive ink. The "amore" strip was cut from a 12x12 patterned paper (can't remember that either!).
TFL!

This is so pretty Liz! I just love the collage design of this card and the shabby chic feel of it too. You did an excellent job getting this luscious pear to stand out just right with your additional coloring. The ribbons are the perfect finishing touch on this lovely card! ~Karen.
