Like most of you, I have been in the house for awhile now and feeling a little like a prisoner (not really but kind of - lol). Psalm 69 is a plea for rescue. Verses 29-36 seem very applicable to how I feel right now.
Started with some very ugly water color stripes. Not sure what I was thinking, but then with journaling you can fix anything. I stamped with some white paint on an embossing folder and it looked a bit better. Then I used a large stencil and it improved. Then I took some of the Natural beauty images on my counter top from my card this weekend and it looked much better. The butterflies make it but then they always do don't they?
Thanks for looking - I know this is a hot mess but it made me feel better and that is what our art is all about right?
Hugz and well wishes

I have a stamp that says when in doubt add a bird, but it could work for butterflies, too. Thanks for sharing this verse and your wonderful journaling today. Hugs sweet friend.

BEAUTIFULLY DONE, Nancy!!! Yes, I think butterflies work NICELY! (A symbol of new life!) ;) AND I also like the rainbow, it symbolizes God's promise to not flood the entire world with water again. It is nice to use it when we think of God's promises to His people! A PERFECT verse from the Bible too!
If you come over to my blog I have a link that will uplift you in these times too! A SUPER JOB on your journaling page, Nancy! HANG IN THERE friend! ;)<3

It's not a hot mess in my eyes, Nancy! It is a lovely page highlighting a wonderful verse. I love the butterflies you added and your doodled frame. Great work, sweet Nancy!
