I've wanted to try this technique since I saw I think Lydia do it. But it is one of those scary techniques that I feel like I have no control over, so I needed this push to try. Thanks, Snietje! I thought it would look cool with the Bamboo II stamp and it does. I was too lazy to get out my iron this morning, so I burnt my milk with the heat gun. It probably took longer, but it was really fun to watch just pieces burn at a time. After I finished my background I went looking for a panda and chose this digi guy eating his bamboo. Then I went looking for dieting humor but changed it to "social distancing" humor. I know we're all sitting at home trying to resist our snack cabinets...

LOL at your sentiment. The bamboo turned out great. I was wondering if a heat gun would work. Didn't want to try, because mine is a DIY paint stripping one, and even with heat embossing I always have to take care not to scorch the card. I'm like you, I like control and reproducibility, but actually I think we do have it with this - though a admit to being a little dubious when Anita proposed it.
