Polly wants us to celebrate Spring and, despite the fact it is Autumn here in Australia it is, indeed, beautiful warm weather ATM.
I am also celebrating the return of my son from Berlin. He has been away for 9 months and am so glad he made the decision to return home at this present time! Hubby, he & I are in self isolation for 2 weeks. Hopefully, this will mean plenty of time to craft!!
I wanted to make a CAS style mixed media card. I sponged the circle through a stencil. Die cut the flourishes and adhered this pretty blue flower I have had for ages. Die cut the happy twice and stamped the word, birthday, die cut using the rectangle die and used an olive marker pen around the edges. Added the tiny pearls. This will be for a friend's birthday in April.
This is also for the Featured Stamper, Sheri (PaperCrafty). I haven't had the pleasure of seeing Sheri's gallery before - so many beautiful cards! I decided on this card to CASE -
My changes are listed above. Will definitely take more time and look through the whole gallery again. I hope that you enjoy your week in the spotlight, Sheri! TFL!

I always love to see CAS mixed media cards. I enjoy getting messy so I don't often make them, but I love the look. The little pearls look super.
So glad to hear your son was able to get home. Stay safe and keep crafting.

How lovely, Sue! The sunny yellow behind your big flower is wonderful. So glad your son came home! It would be awful to be stuck so far away from home right now.

What a beautiful take on Sheri's card, Sue! I love the yellow and the pearls you added.
