I don't remember ever having visited the Ellen Hutson site before but it is a fun site. I am very interested in bullet journals so I watched this super fun video and was inspired by it:
I made a mask and sponged the rectangles in my journaling Bible (Psalms 71 - God's Help in Old Age).
Then I stamped the various chickens from SU! Hey Chick! inside the mask. I wrote in humorous sayings about old age. Then I made a card using some cardboard from the 50,000 Amazon boxes we have gotten in the last week. The bg is ink/spray/smash.
Then I painted and assembled the cardboard into a coop. I added in some vintage photo and stenciled on some images/words/numbers. I made the sentiment using my computer:
Q: What do you call a scary chicken?
A: A poultrygeist.
I am sending it to a work friend who loves chickens and raises them. Inside I also put hope you are staying sane being all cooped up. We had our first week working from home and it has been an adjustment for us - less fun than we thought it would be.
I didn't realize there was a psalm about old age - how great is that!
I also learned today that 7 people wrote the Psalms and that Moses wrote Psalm 90 and maybe 90-100. David is only believed to have written between 73 and 88 of the 150 Psalms. I thought David wrote them all.
Thanks for the inspiration, Stacy, Ellen Hutson, and Adelina Starace (who I cased and I totally recommend watching her video).

This is great. I really need to start some fun journals. I jot down quotes I see I like all the time in just a small tablet I have by my computer, but how fun it would be to do some art and put it in a pretty keepsake type of journal. I could be thinking of legacies to leave behind, right. None of my kids are going to be wanting my art supplies as their inheritance, but a journal or two they might enjoy having.

I love all your little blocks of chickens with their words of wisdom and I'm SO glad you answered the riddle in your description - My old brain couldn't figure it out . . . and the punny answer tickled me.

I'm blown away by your amazing bible journal, Nancy! This has been a goal of mine for a long time, but I just can't seem to get started. You are such an inspiration and I love how you combine meaningful scriptures with all your wonderful creative talents. I've decided to increase my scripture study during this quiet time at home. Creating and learning about our Creator...they go together!

I absolutely LOVE what you did with the cardboard to tuck the chicken into the coop with and am saving this because, someday it will more than likely be cased by me Nancy.
