I had this cut-out flower and stem in my stash from experimenting with Dee Gruening's Rainbow Sponges. I glued them over a handmade marbled paper background, and added a heat embossed sentiment. Every time I tried to add a center to the flower, it just wasn't right so I left it alone. I have 2 old video cassettes and a DVD (Me a hoarder?) of Dee's exuberant, informative and bright style of stamping techniques. What a crack-up to revisit.
This one's for you, Dee. My compressed sponges are still good!

How fun & how colorful, Lori! I haven't thought about the rainbow sponges in fa-eh-ver! I have a bunch. I even took several classes from Dee back in the day. She's a real hoot!
