After I sized the image in Photoshop, I printed it onto a piece of vellum bristol paper. I colored the snail with my colored pencils, adding a grey shadow underneath to ground him. I went over his eyes with a black glaze pen, & matted the panel with a narrow black mat.
I cut 2 strips of patterned paper from "So-So-Sweet," & die cut the long edges with one of the "Stitched Basic Edges 2" dies. I adhered a panel of grey patterned paper (from the "Paddywack" pad) to my white card base, and added my wavy strips to that. Finally, I adhered my image panel. I played around some with which way to lean it. I finally decided to let the snail off easy and let him go downhill, not up. I'm not generally inclined to tip elements like that, but thought I'd live on the wild side a bit for this card! LOL
