I forgot to do one thing, in my rush to photograph and upload: I'm going to add some glitter pen and maybe some gold glitter pen for some detail.
This is for Pixie, who is a coffee shop owner but closed her business to help out a fellow coffee entrepreneur who is dealing with serious illness. Quite the story in Oregon. I'm excited to use this Waffle Flower stamp/die set for the first time. Very whimsical and enchanting. Colored in alcohol ink pens, diecut and mounted on an oval sprayed with jade ink, both mounted on a Bristol card, sprayed with sunshine. I've had some deli paper gel prints from Polly on my desk, just waiting for a good opportunity. Happy it was today. On the inside there is some of the same deli paper for trim at the bottom, the tried but true SU sentiment 'The essence of love is kindness,' and a few more stamps dies/stamps from the coffee set.
Pixie is a reminder that there are good people in this world. A memory: when I was a kid, we had a dog named Trixie and my best friend had a parakeet named Pixie. I'm assuming Pixie is a nickname, but who knows? I always thought it was cute.

That image is GREAT....I love it and it was meant for today's teaparty. Oh and I do recognize that bit of gelli print...what a fun way to accent your card. HA!

Ah! I looked at this card and tried to guess who it might be - kinda Polly but I didn't think it was her. What a delightful image. She has a real Japanese look to her, for me. Loved the sprayed background behind, and the little popped-up bird is just so sweet.

I can totally see why you wanted to ink up this wonderful Waffle Flower stamp set - it is so charming and so delightful and beautifully colored too! Your blue oval behind the image really sets off your image so nicely and so does the warm yellow you added to the card base. What a fun way to use this gelli print from Polly- super cute! You have made a fabulous card for Pixie and one she will enjoy and treasure. ~Karen.
