This is very CAS for me but works well for this type of card. My biggest concern was where to position the sentiment...and I tried about 5 different places!
I made the lavender bg by smooshing DO inks on an acrylic block and spritzing with water. I die cut that (I'm not as talented as Karen Dunbrook who can do it on a one layer card) and stamped the bottom part of the stamp on the white bg to continue the design on the inked part.

Isn't it amazing that sometimes the simpler the design the more thought it takes to get the most effective placements of elements. . . This has wonderful eye appeal.

I love the colors, and the placement of the sentiment is perfect.

So Pretty in the purple hues, Polly. Simple is always best when it comes to a sympathy card. I like the placement of your sentiment and the continuation of your image~

Wowza I totally love your smooshing. Great image for a sympathy card and the sentiment is the perfect placement too Polly. Thank you so much for playing along.
