You will notice on that first card had the circle in the center snipped out. I used that discard on this card, as a doily underneath the bird image.
I brayered Memories soft wheat ink on the PTI Woodgrain texture plate before embossing the card front. Also brayered the ink on the circle from SU Bird Ballad Dsp to soften the tone of the white background so it would match the doily and the Woodgrain.
I tucked some fussy cut flower clusters under the edges of the bird circle to add a bit more color, and then finished off with a simple linen thread bow, some pearls and a sentiment tag.
It satisfied my card-making soul to finish this second card for the bird challenge. I found a way to use the pretty discard from the first card, as well as some left-over fussy cut flowers. As I said, satisfying!
Why donât you join us for this early-taste-of-spring bird challenge? Fun awaits you!

What a beautifully designed card! Love the bird and flowers in the circle, with some of the flowers extending out of the circle! And great background layers.
