Oh, this challenge reminded me of special China my mother had. She had a vase that was delft and I remember seeing where it had been broken - not fixed with kintsugi but with some glue (like Elmer's). Hmm...

I wish I had saved a few broken pieces that I inherited from my grandmother. If I had known how to use golden solder it would have been a lovely tribute. Thanks for sharing your memories.

LOL, yes, I think I can identify with glue-repaired china, we had quite a bit of it round the house. My dad had a special glue that he'd use on china. I like this, it's like a favourite tile that had been broken and restored.
