I trimmed Distress Watercolor card to be slightly smaller than an A2 Kraft card blank, stamped the tall leaf image from the SSS Stronger Together stamp set with Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink, coloured with the Darice Watercolor pencils, faded out the colour using a waterbrush and dried. I used a dark brown water color pencil to added the stems and some shadows.
I picked up colour from the watercolor pencil I used for the leaves using with the water brush, repeating until there was enough colour to apply a wash to a scrap of Distress Watercolor card. I die-cut the SSS Bold Hello from a scrap of Kraft card and the coloured scrap and layered slightly offset to create dimension and a hint of a shadow. I stamped the sentiment using Vintage Photo Distress Archival ink, trimmed to use friend only and fixed both in place using Simon Says Stamp Craft Tacky Glue and matted the panel on to the card blank.
