Ever had one of those days..even the Ouija Board is telling you NO....I dug out this old stamp set as I thought it fit the retro theme...do kids still play with Ouija Boards?? I know as a thirteen year old my friends and I were so into it...we took it as gospel. It was a staple at all the slumber parties..HA!

I love your card!! Such fun images..........and no. Ouija boards were not in vogue when I was growing up.........we all played Canasta. Does anyone play that any more??? (I am about to be 76. Can you tell?)

LOL, this brings back memories of jr. high slumber parties! Ouija boards were quite the thing in our group. Great combination and perfectly retro, Polly! Thanks for playing in my challenge.

This card really brought back memories...we were forbidden by the nuns to play with it. So we had to hide it from our Moms! We were such rebels. TFS

My grandkids had a Ouija board s few years ago. It could have been their moms. I do remember playing with one my girlfriend had, and pajama parties were the time to haul them out! Oh what memories!
Love your card, Polly! Thanks for the memories...

So....yes, I believe kids still use it. I think part of the fun for them is that it is such an old game, there's much more mystery and creepiness involved. Your card brought an immediate smile to my face! Love the look of the gal....I'm kind of feeling this way right now!

Cool crackle and zebra print (that one has a great retro vibe) layers. And what a brilliant sentiment - I could use that one with Snoopy typing. Well, TBH I don't know if I actually would, but there are so many of the strips that start with him typing "It was a dark and stormy night".

Did you have one of those magic eight balls too? Turn it upside down and it would answer your questions. Oh what fun your card is....and my brothers would always tell stories that started with 'it was a dark and stormy night...'

I still can't believe my Christian parents let us have a Ouija board.....definitely a thing at slumber parties and also attempts at levitating each other, looking for our future mates in mirrors, etc.
Fun images that definitely capture that crazy time.

Love all of this Polly and yep at 12/13 ouija boards were the thing. My mum gave me a stern warning and frightened the living daylights out of me so that put a stop to my participation. I wouldn't touch one now. The things we do when younger LOL and I was a bit of a rebel. TFS Happy day
