Kintsugi. What a beautiful and thoughtful challenge Jean gave us. I stamped two large stamps over a previously made polished stone yupo panel embossing with two different gold EP. The larger cracks sparkle more. Traced this old Dreamweaver metal stencil over it and cut it out. I cut off parts of this metallic bronze invitation set and refolded it so the inside is now the front showing the pocket. Sizzix embossed the bottom portion. Added vintage gold twine attaching the two elements. Will keep the sentiment a secret until the recipient gets this piece. UPDATE: Inside Tag reads, "There's Only One You".

real neighbor...this is magnificent! Your original pot is so beautiful, but the cracked is oh so much more and illustrates Kintsugi without speaking. I love the understated bg with it's texture and neutral color. Someone is going to be so thrilled with this work of heART! Fav'd, of course!

OOO that polished bg for the vase is perfect! The "crackle" stamps work well for this technique. And aren't you the tease...I want to know what that message says! Lovely card Lori!

Wonderful vase Lori! I love the fall looking colors and all the golden cracks. So fun that the sentiment is hidden! What a coincidence that we both used the Dreamweaver stencil!

Oh, beautiful. The shape reminds me of old ginger jars. I like the way your cracks are radiating out from a central point...like shatterproof glass. And the textured geometric copper is just fab. The hidden sentiment will be fun for the recipient.
