Shelly (mcschmidty) is this week's featured stampers. Love her cards and style. There were a bunch of cards that inspired me but her Possibilities card grabbed me:
I originally drew the butterfly with a stabilio pencil and didn't realize how much it would smear (I just bought it). Then I covered the whole butterfly with torn hymnal pages and redrew it. Still a bit a smearing but I got it covered in paint and gesso to prevent more. Added perfect pearls and Stickles and it sparkles from across the room now.
I added in the words from Mathew 19: 23-26 with a jouraling pen.
Can't wait to see how Shelly inspired everyone else. There are some gems in her gallery.
Congrats Shelly!

How wonderful, Nancy! Your BAJ pages are always a wonder to behold. Sorry you had trouble w/ the smearing..most pencils are like that. I found out by accident that if you color over a pencil w/ a Copic, you can't even erase it! Oops!

Oh my- this is magnificant! I love the butterfly you drew- wonderful coloring and shimmer- and even with smearing a problem-solved- looks amazing. I have a journal and a journaling bible and have only done one page- I should try hard to get some pages done! Thank you so much for joining in the challenge and I am honored!!!
