One of my fondest memories is a soft quilted bathrobe. I put it on when I got up, when I wasn't feeling great, Saturday mornings watching cartoons. It got really ratty, lost all it's buttons, one tie, but I still loved it. That bathrobe went to my DD when she stayed at "Camp Grandma", and finally to Erin when she stayed with her "Great Grammy". It never did get to my house.......but we have all loved it. It's now in Erin's closet!
This card goes to DD. Inside it says,
"If showing up in a robe and slippers with hair curlers and a box of wine is wrong, then maybe I don't fully comprehend how Casual Friday works."

That's sweet Anne!! Things like a worn bathroom can definitly be comfy!! I like how you have your hubby in your avatar now. It would be nice if they were a little bigger.

The big question here is was the robe red? How wonderful that 3 generations have been comforted by it. What a t erttific memory you shared. Such an adorable card with a funny sentiment.

Wow, it sounds like your special robe was like some kid's special stuffed toys! What a great memory and the fact that it is still around is amazing!!!!
Very cute card!

Great memory and fab punchline. I feel that way about my Joe Boxer, blue, fleecy nightshirt, I call my Polar Sheep. The animals on it look like a weird cross between the two. I practically live in it. Everyday is casual Friday!
