I've managed to cover three wonderful challenges this week! The TLC is Joseph's Coat. And the first time I have used it, thanks Lynn for your very concise video! I made a panel and then tore out my young woman with butterflies and used other bits for the large butterfly and the skinny strips on the left side.
Today's Ways to Use it is 'A Recipe for Love', Toni asked us to feel the love and create a card with things that begin with the letters in Love.
My love is
L. Lilac, love
O. Orange
V. Violet
E. Emboss.
This card was created for the TeaPotters Challenge. We are sending our cards this week to a young woman who needs encouragement while she is hospitalized for a month. Thank you Gracie and Lisa for bringing this to our community. I am sure the gallery is full of Bright Cheery works of heart!
I wanted to convey the thought of better days, what is behind the clouds, what we can dig down and find within ourselves. The Rubber Moon positive word stamp was inked with Memento Lux 'Lilac Posies' and embossed with Ranger 'Detail Clear', The Club Scrap 'Kind Heart, fierce mind, and Brave Spirit' was inked with VersaFine 'Onyx Black' and embossed.
The vintage yellow zipper was used to emphasis what lies underneath. Unzipping, there is a garden of flowers in many different hues. Living, growing. I added the green hearts, again growing. Gathering up the elements I was going to use, I decided I would mount them on my scrap paper. I loved the sharp lines that mark different places the paper was moved as I used the Jospeh's Coat technique. Growing, building, strength, emerging as that butterfly!
Thanking my friend, Lori for the easel cards as this is a larger piece. And thanking you for stopping by. I appreciate your comments.

A feast for the eyes and spirit. So glad it's a BIG art hug for RaiiLynn, so that this beauty will stand out even more for her. A garden behind the heart lined zipper is so very touching.
