Lisa is our hostess for the Teapot Tuesday challenge this week - you can find it HERE and learn why we are making bright and colourful cards for RaiLynn.
When I saw Lisa's teapot I knew that I wanted to use a rainbow, and I thought I'd go back to an idea I used HERE.
This time I stamped the background with small quatrefoil on watercolour paper, so that I could use Brushos and let them bleed. This took quite a while, as I had to mist each patch, add the colour and then let it dry and shake off any extra powder before moving on to the next colour. I used the same powders to colour each arc of the rainbow.
The little paint palette is one of the first stamps I ever bought, when we were delivering supplies to a customer at a show. I stamped it on watercolour paper, embossed it, coloured with distress inks and then used Stickles for all the colours. It's popped up on foam. I stamped and embossed the sentiment (inside says "and rainbows", stamped with a spectrum pad, and matted it onto purple glitter card.

I really like this "artsy-er" version of your card. The lovely brushos backdrop gives me the illusion that all the wonders of that rainbow just can't be contained and are being poured out over everything.

Sabrina this card is a smile! I love all the layers of the rainbow in the card. The BG looks great for all that wonderful work of letting it dry between layers of colors. RaiLynn is going to love this card full of life and colors. Thank you so much for playing along.
