Hubby had surgery last week and I have been away a bit. So, as he recovers I have been able to play a bit.
My card was made using a disposable paper placemat which I picked up somewhere long ago. I have four of them so they will last a while. They make a great background. I started with a plaid base underneath the mat, then some white cardstock.
I believe I saw these disposable placemats on Budd + Finn on Pinterest.
I stamped the berries, colored, and added a sentiment. All finished and made a quick card.

Love the placemat, it makes a fabulous background! The red berries and warm plaid make this a very cosy-looking card. Hope hubby is making a good recovery.

Fabulous card. Love the pine cones on the kraft. The hint of plaid is superb. Excellent card. Glad you could have some playtime with us today. Hope your DH's recovery goes smoothly for both of you!
