My first time using this "no line" ink for stamping. Personally, I'm not that wild about it. Yes, it doesn't leave the lines a gray ink would, but it absorbs the color of what you are using as a coloring medium. Maybe Copics or pencils would be better(I don't know), but with watercolors it "grabs". I was not terribly pleased with the veins being so prominent on the leaves. Another "live and learn" experience.

we are our own worst critics, aren't we? I am sitting here marveling at the elegance of your peonies and the gorgeous bg!!! I hadn't really noticed the leaves until you mentioned them. And yes, like you said...but anyone would be thrilled to receive this beautiful card.
I am really a rank amateur with wc. Love what you do, Sallie!

This turned out so beautiful, I know I tried one of those inks ( once) I'd have to look at the pad to know which one for sure but, what I noticed about the one I had was it fades, so if you want to color it, you have to do it pretty much right when you stamp it. its not something you could stamp and then toss in a go bag for coloring later.

Your patience with wc is to be greatly admired. I have watched several no line videos, I personally would rather be able to see what I'm coloring. never tried it. This is extremely beautiful.

Why is it that we critize ourselves? This is lovely and I like the leaves. You can send this to me for my April birthday. I'd love to have it!! I can't watercolor worth a lick, so even though you aren't happy, I love it.
