Well... this is one of those "better looking IRL" cards! I photographed it, with the card open, in hopes that you could see the light showing through the oval.
The challenge was to use your heat gun. First I used it to shrink the dragonfly on shrink plastic.... then I used it to heat the turquoise embossing powder on the back of the transparency (the layer behind the dragonfly).
To do this technique, you stamp on transparency with StazOn... turn the transparency over.... color (if desired) with permanent marker.... wait for that to dry then cover (that side) with VersaMark.... sprinkle embossing powder and heat. I ususally use a glittery e/p for this technique, but thought I'd try something different this time. It really is nicer looking IRL.

Joan your card is awesome! The dragonfly has so much detail, The background is unbelievable! That is so far beyond any thing I would think of trying. I bet it does look wonderful with the light shining through it. Your matting and the phrase you chose are perfect, and I love the added Primas. I have to agree with everyone else. WOW WOW WOW!
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.

Oh Joan this is positively STUNNING! A Huge WOW!!! And how funny - I was just thinking this morning that I should bust out my box of transparancies and do something. I might have to try this technique - very cool!
