So excited to see Stencil Girl as the IC today Angie! I have lots of stencils from them so I actually used a stencil for my card.
I used a stencil called ATC Mix Up: Toadstools from Stencil Girls. It has 9 small ATC sized stencils on it so I cut the stencil up into 9 separate smaller stencils.
I used Blender Brushes from Picket Fence to rub the Distress Oxide inks through the stencil. First I inked over the mushroom stems with Antique Linen, then I colored the mushroom heads with Candied Apple and then I realized some of the pieces by the stems were grasses - so I brushed over them with Evergreen Bough - not worrying if the green overlapped onto some the the stem pieces.
I added the little vanilla flowers along the base . The card is cut with Noted Scalloped Square die from PTI.
Thanks for the inspiration today Angie!

I love your little cards!! This stencil is darling, especially in these fun colors. I knew you would love this site. Did you order more???

This is so pretty, Julia! I love the colors you used for stenciling the toadstools and the tiny flowers are a nice addition! Love the scalloped framing, too!
