I wanted to make a card for a friend of mine, who is having some health issues, to let her know I'm thinking about her. The flowers were stamped with versamark on mixed media paper, embossed with gold, then I stamped the colors with distress inks, misted with water and let it dry before cutting it with the die. The envelope was cut, embossed with white and filled with some of the flowers. The white panel was stamped with the windowpane stamp, in aqua mist and placed on a groovy guava card base. Here's my inspiration.

How lovely for your friend, Sue!! The gold embossing makes them especially gorgeous! Hugs, mf!

Although your bg is a stamp, it could certainly be mistaken for a stencil. That mini envelope you made is cute as can be - I'm betting your friend will love this.
