Free 4 All Challenge hosted by Angie to use circles on our cards
Mix-ability Challenge hosted by Ky to use and or decorate an envelope. I did not need a Valentineâs Day card, so I used pink with a birthday theme
I looked through my left-overs to see what I could use with circles; I found this flamingo from some cards I did last year. He has a circle balloon. The image was mostly colored with alcohol markers and I added dye ink with a blender pen on the legs & beak. In my background stash, I found a piece that I think was done by swiping Distress Oxide ink on a craft mat, misting with water and then laying down the cardstock on it. The left side was masked so it was just white. The colors lined up with green for the balloon, pink for the flamingo body and blue for the water. It just needed some large polka-dots. With a finger dauber and Distress oixide ink, I sponged circles randomly. On the envelope, I repeated the action on the flap and the word pink. Stamped some flamingos and lightly sponged with what remained on the brushes. I applied Wink of Stella on the balloon, party hat and the water at the flamingoâs feet. It is so sparkly! The image was matted and popped up on foam dots. Fun challenges! TFL
