I watched a video early in the month where Sandy Allnock showed several media types with the Pantone Classic Blue color. For the Distress line it was Blueprint Sketch. I finally was able to get it into my hands the other day. Today I was able to use it for blending.
I chose to use the Flowering Flourishes stamps set, which was released in 2012. It was one of my mother's beloved sets and this was the first time I pulled it out to use. I enjoyed creating with it. As this is an older set, it will be posted to the USEIT2020 thread.
I stamped the flourishes with Versmark ink, and then used Gina K Designs White Embossing Powder. It has been quite a while since I embossed with white; I usually use clear. This will fit into the WT775 for the white embossing.
Lastly, this will fit into the MSP29 challenge, using the Pantone color of Classic Blue. I used my MISTI in stamping each flourish. It has been a fun month seeing the blue in many places.
I decided on the word Hello using a Lawn Fawn die. I wanted a bit of dimension, so I used fun foam in my die cutting machine to cut a Hello. I had cut out white with adhesive on the back, so it was stuck to the fun foam. I had one last square of GKD Blue Denim cardstock, so I cut a Hello out of it. I decided to layer the Hello pieces to make a shadow of sorts.
This was fun to make, using ink blending, splattering a bit of water, emboss resist, and finally adding a few gems. Thanks for looking.
