I've always seen Valentine's Day as a day of unnecessary stress for people (mostly husbands) to live up to the expectations of their spouses. But as a cardmaker, I've had to embrace the day as an excuse to make cards. And I will take any excuse I can to make cards. I made this valentine for my Desmond by printing the s'mores digi on kraft and coloring with markers and colored pencils. I die cut stitched squares from pieces of old cards and put the s'more on an action wobble. The kraft card base looked a little plain to me, so I stenciled this knit pattern that has a heart shaped quality. Finishing touches of Nuvo Crystal Glaze and Wink of Stella on the chocolate and the marshmallow. I grabbed some cute DP and made the envelope and die cut some fancy label dies so I could write his name. Finished off with a cute heart sticker.

Oh, I bet the wobble makes this even more fun. I do agree with you - and DH is pretty good about flowers all through the year. I think maybe it's also much less of a tradition to give cards here, except to a partner/crush. I just love your doodled envelope - and the stencilling on the kraft base.
