My Mom and I have been looking into the family history on her side of the family and discovering many new things. I am doing some projects to document it and have also found some, new to me, photos that I am scanning. This is my grandfather and his parents.
I tried to create the look of an old timber wall in the background. Die cut planks, smear Distress Inks on a craft sheet and mist with water. Press the planks into the ink and then emboss in the 3-D embossing folder - before the paper dries. The embossing is more pronounced when the paper is wet.
The journaling is behind the photo.
Thank you so much for looking!
Happy stamping!

This is beautiful! I love the elements you used!
I've been scanning and captioning (to share) ALL of my grandparents photos for about three years now, but I haven't scrapped anything yet.
