Carla is our hostess for this WTUI challenge, the last in January. You can find it HERE. This is the card I made for her challenge, which had me stumped for a while. I was going to send this to my sister for her birthday, (because as well as getting myself a Moomin calendar for the kitchen, I gave her one for Christmas), but then she asked for a recipe book and I made her a kitchen bench card instead. I might send her this another time.
So, this was inspired by my Moomin calendar:those Purple Onion stamps reminded me straight away of the little woodland creatures, who are quite pointy and angular. The original stories were black and white cartoons, so I went with that look
Purple Onion Julian Charlton Frederick and Claude, stamped and masked. Unity Warmth of winter tree background. Square dies, Sue Wilson Herringbone cut from black and white.

I had to look up Moomin to see your inspiration. You hit the look perfectly, Sabrina! Love the black and white and the herringbone bg. Thanks for the fun sample for my challenge.

I'm unfamiliar with these characters, but they sure are fun, Sabrina. Love the graphic look done in black/white. Your sister is sure to enjoy this wonderful card.

I can absolutely see the inspiration from the Moomin calendar in your card. Great image for the card and super job creating this from your calendar inspiration.

This is delightful and charming! Love the black and white, too. Isn’t it good that our art won’t spoil and we can give something at just the perfect time...
I have a ‘few’ purple onion stamps...among my favorites.
