So, I had seen that Polly has a collage challenge right about the time I decided to clean my table from making the sample for this weeks IC... and I started this card holding onto a strip of the background that I made for that one. it did not make it onto this card. but the colors and theme came from there. I was going to build a "nest" of found objects on the table for the bird and it got a little too straight on the right side but, it is lumpy as all get out in real life. I think it just may be really crooked too. ha, The bird had to be heat embossed over the dried paints as the ink was not ever going to dry, I used an old seafoam translucent so, when the card is tilted one way it is green ish and when its the other way its still a brownish tint. Thanks for this challenge Polly. & tfl.

Oh, I love the use of the corrugated card on this one. Funny, I was just looking at one of my own cards using that bird and thinking I should pull it out. I like the soft sprayed look. Mine always end up with big spatters.

What a great mix of elements on this! The bird is a perfect focal point, the corrugated cardboard is a fantastic layer, and my favorite part is the wish ticket! Thanks for playing along Stacy ;)

OMGosh, do I love this or what! So many things are just my thing...first the colors, then the corrugated cardboard fence, the ephemera script-looking bird, your fabulous sprinkled, watercolor-look background, the ticket, and its framed! I believe I love every bitty thing of this fabulous card!
