The white binders are 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and have most of my stamps in them. They are on laminated cardstock in page protectors, and are alphabetical by brand. I change my mind a lot, so they may not stay this way, but that's how they are right now. I do take all of the sentiments out of the sets and those are by category in the binders in the smaller unit. The exception is all of the bizillion Christmas sentiments I currently have - those are in the navy photo album on the bottom shelf on the left. The other binders on that shelf are, left to right, alphabets, Unity Angie Girls (I have quite a few), my paper index, and my full set index.
Other items on this piece are boxes that have works-in-progress, paints, ephemera, etc. The wooden unit has references (ink indexes, marker indexes, die samples/window sheets, that sort of thing). The drawer has white, black and kraft scraps.
My most referred-to books are on this unit as well as some nostalgic mementos. The girl praying by the bedside is a container that my grandmother brought flowers in for my mother when I was born, the cat with the broken/repaired tail was my favorite thing for years when I was a child, the sheep was made for me by one of my college friends as a shower gift when my son was born, and the little dog was made by my younger sister when she was in school.

I too have organized a lot of my stamps in binders. I used to have stamps organized by manufacturer, but with these binders, I have organized by subject which for me is best for how I use them. Everyone works differently, and I so appreciate learning from everyone's organizational ideas as I am learning from yours--thank you!!! I have been thinking about my sentiments--for instance so many in clear sets and how do you take those out? Did you cut the printed sheet on acetate with the sentiments? I have been thinking of indexing all of my sentiments eventually but I have other details to take care of first. I have about 70% of my stamps and dies organized into binders, and need to decide what to do with my wooden stamps, I am strongly considering taking them off the wood mounts, and right now, my SU cling stamps are still in their cases. There will always be some exceptions for me--at least for now, but I have found it so helpful to have things organized this way. All of my sentiments are together--the mixed sentiments then those that are thank you, sympathy, etc--except birthday as everything birthday is in one binder. Christmas will all be together... It's mind-boggling just trying to figure it all out! :p
I especially love the sentimental pieces you have with your stamps, they are really precious because they show what is important to you, and that is always very special.
Thank you so much for sharing your organization. How did you do the titles on your binders?
Best wishes, I know that you are going to enjoy crafting so much more now that your stamps are organized in the best way for YOU!
I am storing my stamps in my Crafter's Companion EZ binder full size 3-ring storage. I found cheaper one in Amazon. They work just as well. My stamps are by topics, i.e. animals, boys, girls, etc.
