This card was designed using the retired SU Walk in the Wild along with a current set, Scripture Collection 11 from Divinity Designs, LLC for my hubby's 70th BD card.
He and I love to watch wildlife and while we will never see a moose in the wild in MD, we hope one day to travel to Maine or possibly the Northwest and may see one there :-) In the meantime, we have stamps, zoos and Animal Planet :-)
I used the SC582 Sketch Challenge for the layout in addition to linking to the Addicted to Stamps and More #372 Make Your Mark Challenge and the 2 Crafty Critters Crazies #34 Anything Goes with a Critter January Challenge.
I am also linking to the following SCS Challenges:
All Occasion Card Challenge (AOCC20)-this is one of my masculine BD cards for Jan
BVC20 Divine Design Bible Verse Challenge for 2020 I love using Scripture on my cards and this verse is one of my favorites
USEIT2020- I have not inked up this moose in quite a while and I believe this is the first card I have created with this verse sentiment as well. I also used retired DSP, ribbon and the pewter slide from my massive stash, lol!

Love that moose image and the gloriously rich colours you've used! A beautiful card for a masculine birthday. Not my favourite type of card to make. Your hubby will love it I'm sure!

Lovely card. If you would like to come to northern Minnesota to visit, there have been many moose sightings. Saw one myself there last summer, eating grass in the pond by the side of the road. Great coloring, layering and a great verse.

What a classy and wonderful guy card! Even made better with this wonderful verse that is so comforting, for our strength and comfort come from the Lord. I love how you have combined patterned papers, and these colors you have used together are glorious! From the background of the moose to the background of the bible verse, you have pulled together the colors to pull the whole card together and it's wonderful!!! Your husband will be (or is, if he has already received it) absolutely thrilled and touched by such a stunning card!
I am from New Brunswick, Canada, which borders on Maine, I have seen lots of deer and likely a few moose in my time, there are portions of highway roads where one has to be especially careful at certain times of the day at specific times of the year when one has to really watch for moose, as of course if your car hit a moose, likely everyone would not survive including the moose. I hope that you both get to Maine to see some--from a safe distance, of course.
I LOVE Maryland, I went to graduate school at U of MD at College Park to do a masters in music performance, then after spending a year in England working on another course, I returned to U of MD to do a doctorate... I made many friends there, especially at the church that became my home. This past year, my sister and I drove to SC to visit family and we stopped in Frederick to visit with and stay with some dear friends of mine from church, it was WONDERFUL to spend some time with them!
Thanks for uploading this card, I especially appreciated your using the plums and burgundies mixed with the other colors, it added a great warmth to your card and I learned some great color lessons for which I especially am thankful.
I hope that your husband has or had a very blessed and very enjoyable 70th birthday, I think that you are very blessed to have each other!
