So we are waiting another winter storm and I was done with everything but sitting by the fire. So the card was inspired. The card background is done with various alcohol inks and blending solution were added to a felt applicator and tapped on to an alcohol friendly paper. Once dry, I embossed the brick background. Cut a fireplace design from a silhouette studio file and added some color for the fire with alcohol markers. Also cut some steam from silhouette file. Did layering of kitchen sink mug. Though left with lifelike coloring, wanted it to have the artistic pottery look so splattered it with a white acrylic paint dilution and embossed it with clear embossing fluid. Figured this card would be fine without a sentiment on the outside.

Very inviting scene. No better place to be than in front of a nice warm fireplace when there is a winter storm outside. Having a warm cup of Joe makes it even more tolerable. Not sure where you live, but I hope the storm is not bad and that you do not lose power.
