I followed a sketch by Sunday Stamps Blogspot and this card was posted there for their current challenge.
I used my MISTI to stamp the balloon animal from the Party Animals set in Blue Denim. I stamped the sentiment with the MISTI also. It was a little tricky to curve it, but it worked well. The stars were stamped with an acrylic block. The patterned paper is from Gina K Designs, called Pool Side. I needed twine for the sketch and didn't have any in a close color, so I used Spectrum Noir TB5 and inked my twin to make a close match. Thanks to the MISTI challenge I keep seeing the blue color all over.
This week's CAS challenge is to use your stash. This is the last piece of this color of paper that I own. I have been keeping it trying not to use it. I now own 1/4 of a sheet of cardstock in the blue denim color. Fortunately I can get more. I have also been hoarding the twine. This twine is from Paper Smooches and they no longer sell twine. I may need to seek another source.

Gingham and balloons just seem like a perfect pair!
