I have a lot of washi tape but never pull it out any more so opted to used that in place of paper strips to lay down the diagonal stripes. Since my die cut words are all rather small & delicate the effect was lost on them so opted for shapes instead.
I die cut the 4 nesting stars but was having trouble deciding how to display them until I found this never used Unity sentiment. I stamped it onto a navy panel that's been floating around my desktop for several months and Embossed with snow white powder. Then arranged the stars to look as if each was lifting up the next to push the tiniest one heavenward.
