I am so disoriented with the days this week...I knew it was Thursday because I'm back to work, but I forgot to upload this last night. Toni is our first hostess of the year, and her challenge is available HERE.
IO sentiment stamped on vellum, coloured on the back with Sharpies, cut with Labels 10, hand embossed with D'vine Swirls, gold edging and round Happy.
Base sponged with forest moss DOX, stamped with flowering flourishes in the same.
Old BG solid colour sponged with forest moss DOX using Joanna Sheen vintage lace stencil. Poppystamps Chinese Lantern cut from gold, and found some solid backing pieces already cut in with the die. I added a couple of little butterflies cut from a scrap of card burnished with gilding flakes.

I love the bg stencil you used - it makes such a pretty setting for your Chinese lanterns. The embossed vellum adds even more interest to that flourish encircled sentiment.

This is stunning, Sabrina. I especially like those butterflies. Your vellum sentiment looks so fabulous with the embossing...i have never had any luck with vellum. Beautiful card.

A true beauty...and the first thing of the New Year that I have to buy, if still available (the Chinese lanterns). Love all the texture you added. Welcome to the disoriented club. I've been there for about two weeks. And I love your peanuts picture with your water mark.
