Such an appropriate challenge for New Years! CAS566 Old New is New New. Thanks Kelli Jo....I used a Stencil I've been 'saving' and this fabulous multitool stamp and die set I couldn't resist at the Art Impressions Warehouse sale back in November...I know some of my SCS friends~ partners in FUN will bring out some of their treasures too!
This card is also for the CC772 Really Back to Basics. Stef is hosting this week and she has challenged us to Real Red, Basic Black and Gray...with one neutral. My neutral is my models' blonde tresses.
I had such fun creating this card. The multi~tool is quite a fussy little bit, but the pay off is definitely worth it. My neighbor, Lori (ArtzadoniStudio) was along on the AI warehouse sale and bought the guy set! We are going to swap and create more. Check out Handyman Valentine. Once I had made the girlie set (I was surprised at how big it was)...I thought how am I going to make this into something? And of course, this Fab A Colorful Life Stencil was hanging out in my studio. I used my neutral option to color 'Maggie's hair. Added lipstick, a fussy snippet of Vintage Seam Binding to the hair & a pearl brad.
This is going to my daughter in love. She is an amazing hair artist, actress, singer with beautiful blonde tresses. I think she'll like it. Thanks so much for your comments. Can't wait to see what inspired you!

What a FABULOUS card, Susan. Love the "swiss army knife made up of
"beauty tools".....so clever and perfect with your stenciled image. The doodad in her hair is the perfect finishing note.

Love the brad and ribbon in her hair and those wonderful hair supplies=Amazing, Susan! I went to hairdressing school so I can completely identify with this card. I don't work any longer, but I still cut a little at home~
