Stef has the perfect color challenge for this week: Real Red + Basic Gray + Basic Black with white or New Year's Sparkle.
This could be Cheer's to a new Year - or it could be Cheers to the fact that we just finished the last 14 hour leg of our drive back home from sunny Florida to snowy Minnesota. (Without the snow it wouldn't have been so loooong!.)Just in the nick of time to post this. It's a pretty straightforward card. I used one of my favorite techniques: brayering white craft ink onto an embossing folder before running it through my Big Shot with the cardstock. Add Cheers die cut from Red Glimmer paper.
I hope you can join us in the gallery this week. Oh, and Happy New Year!

Love this beautiful celebration card, Chris! The new embossing folder is gorgeous, especially with your white inked technique (I really have to try that!) So glad you made it back home safely! Happy New Year to you, too!

Glad you made it back home safely, that's quite the haul from Florida to Minnesota! Gorgeous card, it is very festive! I never think to use that technique of inking up an ef, thanks for reminding me how beautiful the results can be.

Such a striking card, Chris! And wow, you must have been thrilled to arrive home. I love the white ink just highlighting the EF. I am going to give that a try.
Happy New Year.
