This was a fantastic CAS challenge to use our "new" new stuff that we bought and haven't used yet. I bought Christmas set of printed papers with coordinating die cuts...thinking what a quick way to make a lot of cards! Didn't do it. LOL I also bought a set of sentiments from Just Rite's sale...80% off!
I lined up my dies on printed paper to cut them out. Create and Craft dies are so easy to use with their preprinted papers. I didn't color penguins. Sets are expensive so I only buy when they are on sale.
I embossed white panel and layered on green DP and white card. Added penguins. Colored sentiment light bulbs and used Crystal lacquer to make them shine. I fussy cut sentiment out and put on card with 3D pop dots.
Great challenge Kellijo!

This cheerful little trio would usher in a happy new year better than anything else I could think of. Cute card.

Preprinted papers with die cuts . . what will they think of next?? But those penguins are adorable so I can see why you'd pop for the extra bucks for some time saving cards. The crystal lacquer on the bulbs really adds realism to them.
