Faux stitching was a really fun technique today. And simple enough that I could knock three previously unused stamps off my list. This bear gossiping with a bird, the SU Big Blossom that is behind them and SU Be Happy that I used for the main background. I had been stumped by those two SU sets for awhile until I realized they didn't have to be the star of the card, and I used them to make my own DP. A simple, fun card using my favorite color combo - orange and pink.

Love how beautifully you incorporated the various stamp sets to create your background .... you've inspired me to try this with some of my challenging stamp images! Your adorable main image and faux stitching are icing on the cake!

Love your bear image, it's stirring memories of some childhood book. Sheesh, I thought I was a glutton for punishment doing two rounds of stitching. Love the sketch you used, even if it was hard on your fingers ;-).
