Tried this new slot die by Tim Holtz and used it on a paint sample swatch. Stamped and embossed "Dear Santa". Stamped the Santa letter and colored with Alcohol markers and then cut out with fancy shaped scissors. Tucked in and glued on other postal elements. Stamped the postmark & sentiment directly on the envelope. Mounted on grey CS. I'm sending my last card today and since it's local, it will get there on time! Gotta love this sentiment, right?

Gotta love your card, my friend! You have such a fun collection of ephemera and combine it perfectly. The slot die reminds me of the mail boxes on houses.

This is just the coolest and neatest creation. I love it. Love the sentiment, too. Got to have cards at Christmas.

This is just plain fun - I love all the elements from the airmail envelope ( I still have some of those) to the hanging mail collector. Back in the day everyone I knew had one hanging prominently in their house separating bills from personal mail etc. Thanks for the ancient memories.
