I chose this photo with the florals on the black ground.
My photo is a little deceiving due to all the shimmer of the metallic watercolors and how they reflect the light. The top left seems silvery and the lower right more golden. In truth, the entire panel is somewhere in the middle between these two. (I probably need some photography classes). I saw this technique on Betsy Veldman's blog for the Greetery. She made me aware that there was such a thing as BLACK watercolor paper.....never knew.
