Lisa has given us a fun Teapot Tuesday challenge to make funny get well cards for Paul. Paul is the son of our very own Teapotter Anne aka jdmommy.
I thought the nurses of St Splitcoastie Memorial Hospital might cheer Paul up. These fine nurses are acrylic stamps made by 2 different companies. I still haven't found the packaging or receipt, so I still don't know what brand they are. Sorry about that.
You will be pleased to know I have graduated from copy paper. This is "Genuine Drawing Cartridge Paper" and recommended for coloured pencils as it has a nice tooth. The weight is not written on the pad but it feels about twice the thickness of copy paper.
One of my all time favourite tutorials here at SCS is Irene's fabulous CHECKERBOARD FLOORING. The walls were done with a stencil, makeup brush and distressed ink.
After I finished doing the wall tiles, I added handmade nurses caps.
Thank you for looking and I hope you get a chance to send a get well hug to Paul.

I'm sure these funny and fun nurses will be making my son laugh........not so much the real ones!! Your cards are always so involved and interesting, and such a treat to whoever receives them (my DH still has his!). Paul will love this. thanks, Susie!

Susie, as always this is brilliant, totally delightful and full of heart. I especially love the two little nurses. You always do a much better job with Irene's tutorial than I do!

Amazing! I love your little cadre of Splitcoastie nurses...they will definitely bring a laugh and a smile. I especially like the little ones with the side eyed glance. Glad you've stepped it up a notch with the heavier paper...ha!

Ohhh! Those Splitcoastie Memorial Hospital nurses are a bit scary looking to me! Can you imagine lying in bed and waking up with all those big eyes staring at you?! LOL Fantastic doodling and background tiles and flooring! Stupendous card Susie! I'm sure Paul will smile when he sees your card!

This definitely has your quirky style Susie. These little nurses kind of look like the Campbell's Soup Kids from many years ago. Super cute card...and congratulations on graduating from copy paper!

These nurses seem to have personalities all their own, and I am sure unique skills that match. Get well quick, Paul, this is the day shift, the night shift might look a little scarier!!!!
