In honor of Judy, add lots of texture. My texture is the embossing folder with direct to paper metallic inks, glitter paste through a stencil and edging the tree and black diamond with gold ep. I also added some dots of gold and silver gel pen on the tree.
This is also for Saturday's IC. Quite the website, I'd say. Of course, one can't but notice all the checkerboards in black, so that's what inspired me. In the middle of the tree is a small shape that has the Zentangle pattern 'Knight's Bridge.' I wanted to keep everything pretty much black and white with a little glitz.

oh, my! Your Zentangle is fantastic! I love the Knight's Bridge pattern...and there are several that remind me of sails filled with wind. You musta have such fun with this.

Wonderful mixed media with different textures and wonderful zentangle paper. You really have the glitz with those stars.

What a funky graphic design, full of visual texture as well as in the hand, with that amazing tree. I like the gold dots, but with all the open space I know I'd have got too much gold on the background.
