I have been creating cards for the Live Like Roo card drive that I heard about on Jennifer McGuire's YouTube channel & blog. The cards are for an organization, Live Like Roo, that helps with families whose pets (primarily dogs) are going through cancer. The woman who runs it sends a card with each care package, so the drive is to get as many handmade cards to give to her for that as possible. My personal goal is to make 10 cards. The stated deadline is December 15, though apparently that is a bit flexible.
I sized the dog image in Photoshop, and printed it onto a panel of watercolor paper. I painted it with my watercolors, and then set it aside to dry.
I stamped the greeting with Walnut ink onto a scrap of tan cardstock, and punched it out with a 1" circle punch.
I adhered a strip of patterned paper from my scrap stash to a green cardstock panel. I added my image panel; & glued on the greeting, slanting it slightly. I mounted that to a white card base, & added Nuvo Crystal Drops.
