Congrats to Nancy, the newest Featured Stamper! She has a wonderful gallery & after much browsing, I chose THIS card to case. I kept the angular layout w/ the decoration but I used different images, dies, colors & made mine a Christmas card.
My card is pretty simple & didnât take much time. I put the winter words bg into my Misti, then stamped w/ white ink & white embossed it. Then you know, put it back into the Misti & rinse, repeat as the shampoo instructions go. (Do we really NEED instructions on shampoo??) Anyway, the top white layer was die cut & I turned a double stitch rectangle on an angle & cut out the V. Die cut all the poinsettia petals, glued them together & added half of the greeting.
Thanks so much for looking. Closeups & product links are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Julie, this is beautiful. I really love the soft blue with the stamped winter words background stamp. You come up with the most creative ways to use the dies to create different shaped layers. I would have never thought to turn the die on the angle to create the triangle opening. Your white poinsettia is the perfect finishing touch for this gorgeous and festive holiday card.

Wow Julie, what a show stopper of a card this is! I am truly impressed you made this beautiful card based on Kia's lovely inspiration card- fun! The white embossed blue background sure sets a nice stage for your turned banner die and gorgeous white poinsettia. What a joy it was to see this card in the gallery! ~Karen.
