This card is for two challenges. The first one is for a special gal who could use a hug. You can read it here MMTPT593~December 3, 2019~A Sister's Love~ by peeps321 at Splitcoaststampers
Lisa gave a challenge to use chalks on our card, or pan pastels. It really was a medium that I used when starting stamping. Now we have so many choices. Remember doing this technique when working with black paper. First step was to paint with the flat brush the flowers and leaves, only using white paint. Let it dry and colored with the chalks using fantastix stick...this lets you blend it onto the white. Usually when using chalks to adhere it, sprayed with hairspray. This time using the wink of stella pen went over the areas. Gave it a shimmer and no need to spray anything. Using a stylus made the white dots on flowers and bg. Added sentiment. TFL

Stunning...that pretty blue looks amazing on the black. I’m sure Jamie will love this.
Funny you mentioned cookies...I’m baking right now...lol..some almond bars for my fellow reading volunteers at nearby elementary school. I’m sure I’ll be doing more for the family...already made chex mix.

Oh my, those colours really do pop, and I bet the shimmer is fab. I didn't realise that the WoS would act as a fixative - I used an equivalent on my dove, but I think I'd already sprayed it with fixative first. Your painted flowers would have been lovely in white, but are stunning in colour.

Wowza Linda...I love the image and love the colors. I have not tried this technique and seeing your card makes me totally want to try it. Gorgeous card for Jamie.
